Eat a Weenie at Mike's

No, not that kind of weenie.

This kind:

What is wrong with you?

You are sick.

Anyway, here's your chance to meet Mike Lenz- or what's left of him- at the opening of his new headquarters at 60 Madision. This Saturday and Sunday!

That's right: you can meet him twice.

Saturday, Oct 2, 11 AM-- speaking at noon
Sunday, Oct 3, 1 PM-- speaking at 2 PM

Who is Mike Lenz, you ask?

What are his positions on the issues that effect residents of the 4th Ward?

Grab a weenie with Mike this weekend or visit his web site, which looks like this:

And for his thoughts on the issues, go to Mike's 'Issues' page which looks like this:

Wow, Mike's got all kinds of ideas on:
Gee, I wonder what Timmy Occhipinti thinks about the issues?

Find out on Timmy's 'Issues' web page:

Oh... my bad.

In fairness to Timmy, I heard that his campaign scriptwriters posted some thoughts for Timmy on there... probably after the above screen cap appeared on GA a few days ago.

Did you know that Timmy reads GA? Well, I don't know that for a fact. I just assumed so.

But do you know who does read GA? Al Sullivan, that's who!

See?

In fact, Al and I are buddies now; we're taking a knitting class together. I'm knitting him a pair of socks and he's knitting me a tiara.

See, happy endings do exist.

Now, go meet Mike this weekend and while you're there, don't forget to feed your face.

  1. That's not what I'm knitting at all!

  2. I never said it was a tiara. I said it would be a surprise

  3. Didn't you say my tiara was shabby and smelled like mothballs? I just figured...

Well, can't wait to see what you do with your pretty pink wool!

  4. I'm pretty sure it wasn't your tiara I was talking about.

  5. Oh... well... how about we change the subject?

  6. Does Mike agree to eat one of the hotdogs? He's disappearing.

  7. The hot dogs weren't quite as popular at the BBQ as the hamburgers but it was close. It should be another great day and we'll see if the hot dogs pull ahead of the burgers.

  8. Kudos to the Avenger for this political roast. Frankly, relish this, as this is as close to "being on a roll" as the Occhipinti campaign may be, he just doesn't seem to cut the mustard. He won't catch up to Lenz, despite trying to rake him over the coals, as long as Mike's voting block gets their buns out to the polls. Don't count on the hamburgers winning, something went wrong with the equipment and the meat was completely ground into powder. Until then, we were going to try to grind and grill some waterfront birds, but we decided that would be taking a tern for the wurst.
