Mother's Day

Whether yours still walks the Earth or lives on in your heart, we all came from one. A mother.

And tomorrow's her special day, Mother's Day. That's right- she gets one stinking day out of the entire calendar year, the rest are all about you. It's always about you. You, you, you.

Well, here's a suggestion.

Whether your Mom is still here or with angels, take a moment on Mother's Day to do something that always made her happy. Clean your room, say your prayers, eat your vegetables, tuck your shirt in or do whatever your willful disobedience forced her to ask you to do ad nauseum, as she labored to make you the person you are today.

That's right, you drove her crazy, but she adored you. Unconditionally. And still does. Wherever she is.

So on Mother's Day, do that simple thing she always wanted you to do without being asked.

As an act of love.

GA will be busy tomorrow being carried around on a sedan chair and fed juicy grapes- her Mother's Day wish. See ya back on Monday. Happy Mother's Day to you and yours.

  1. There's nothing like becoming a mother to help you appreciate your own mother; well a little better! I make part of every day Mother's Day but don't tell anyone;)
