InsiderNJ: DeFusco to announce "soon"

Read it on InsiderNJ

There you go!  Finally...

In spite of former NHSA Commissioner Tony Soares denying to some that he's running, InsiderNJ says that he is.

That means Soares will have to control his anonymous doppelgänger from bile-eruptions in online comments sections- can he do it?

Not likely!  Hey did you know that Mayor Zimmer never wanted any pumps at all?  Nope... not ever!

Well, it will be a 4-way race soon... or maybe a 5 or 6 way... it's still early.

  1. This is a stupid article. How long have we been reading about MDF planning to run? He was planning in October. Its April and he's still planning. Planning and planning. Who cares any more. He looks weak and indecisive. Nason is a better candidate.

    1. Translation: Nason is less of a threat.

    2. You must be kidding, 5:07. Because she's a woman? What exactly is threatening about Mike? A guy who's been talking about running since October and keeps shoving his foot in his mouth. How come Mike and Tony kept trying to get Karen to drop out?

    3. What? Who said anything about men or women?

Mike has government experience. Karen has none. And the only serious foot-in-mouth we've seen lately was Karen accusing Jen Giattino of calling her a psycho.

I have no idea what Mike or Tony are doing so I can't even comment on that.

    4. I agree, Karen's comment about Jen is going to come back to bite her in the ass. That said, Mike's 2 years on the Council is not a big deal- Nason's owned and operated businesses in NYC and 2 business in Hoboken, been her own boss, a valuable skill set for any chief executive. Underestimate her at your own peril.

  2. SCHIZOPHRENIA . If this dream team becomes reality, MDF will have a rapid pro any development real estate agent and equally rabid a no development at all people on his ticket. Also both have long and embarrassing internet histories that will now be made public.

    4. As usual someone gets a little scared, parses out a phrase then takes it to an absurd extreme ....and then throws some old vague inside info innuendo. Pathetic but not unexpected.

  3. Amazing.... Soares on the same team as Beth Mason's longtime political operative.

  4. Did everyone notice only 2 people were mentioned as running mates?!?! Who could the other one be?!?! Welllllll......!!!!

    Someone wanktastic! CHECK!!!

Someone who can finally bring a Wank Shack to town so everyone can enjoy their Wanky Burgers - made relatively fresh daily with bits of real meat?! CHECK!!!

Someone who can break the legislative logjam that's keeping streaming porno out of the senior centers where it's needed most?! CHECK!!!

I'm reminded of something Granny Wanky used to say to me every night before I went to bed around 3am. "Waste not, wank not."

And I'd say "Wank not? Whatteryou crazy!!! Get back in the basement you crazy old cow!!"

    Happy memories!!

And so let the word go forth that I accept your nomination to the important post of Wanker-at-Large!! I'm sure if you all roll up your sleeves and get to work, you'll make me very happy, repeatedly.

    1. My guess would be Biancamano and Castellano's son but they want to wait for Romano to decide if he is running for mayor.

  5. Toadstool wow?
Bringing out 411's greatest hateful hits from 8 years ago
    Attacking peoples looks again
Glad the beauty queens and kings are all so perfect

Does Zimmer ( who mocked for her bulging eye condition ) approve of this scummy stuff?

    1. 7:07 - Love the phony outrage. It suits you.

    2. Not only dont I know who you're talking about, but in your faux outrage about "attacking people's looks" you attacked the mayors looks ("bulging eyes"). How old are you? Let's hope you never get your hands on or near the levers of power in Hoboken.

    3. Toadstool isn't vague
      Look it up
Also the eye reference was a fact based on awful 411 story that said she looked like a monkey
Dawn is attractive, but it's ironic that referring to a dwarf as a toadstool , don't ya think it's a bit offensive ?
Guess not, but fact is toadstools are short stubby ( urban dictionary ) but nice to know you're Okay with Nancy allowing someone calling a a person a "toadstool " But on 411 someone can't mock a public figure and saying she looks like a chimp
Zimmer is attractive , but nobody is perfect
She does have expressive eyes, and the " bulging" is a quote from that site, it's also as much a fact as Bhalla is a Sikh , DeFusco is Gay, Cheryl wears glasses and Soares is a dwarf ....
None of it should matter in a campaign but since this blog commenters are taking this into the gutter why the analogy of physical differences was simply to prove a point

    4. toad·stool
      ˈtōdˌsto͞ol/
      noun
the spore-bearing fruiting body of a fungus, typically in the form of a rounded cap on a stalk, especially one that is believed to be inedible or poisonous.

Spore bearing body of a fungus sounds about right. Nancy is not your babysitter. Go suck your thumb and pout in the corner. Maybe you're too delicate for politics.

    5. 9:02 I second that- the POISONOUS part.

  6. The Burger Dude appears to be taking the "oil and water" approach to his running mates, yikes. Can't wait to see that ticket's position on development, I guess it will depend on who talks the loudest. I can just see the campaign slogan: "For and against, we got 'em both, folks!"
