Speaking of Vision 20/20, did you know that one of the HHA professionals was a behind-the-scenes advocate of the project? He even accused the mayor of "wanting to shut the HHA down"!
That's my opinion, based on one of the emails obtained via OPRA request.

It appears that the HHA General Counsel viewed the Construction Official's notice of a "fire hazard... dangerous to human life or public welfare" at 221 Jackson Street as petty political vindictiveness.

Was this petty political vindictiveness; in May 2014, the HHA applied for permits to install HHA new 'Sandy-proof' generators and subpanels, but... the application showed generators located several feet below the Base Flood Elevation (BFE) and new electric sub-panels (which feed the generators) located in the building basements.
