"(Redacted) is telling VBM voters not to open the door for inspectors"

400 First Street, one of the buildings scheduled for VBM investigation by the Hudson County Board of elections

Obstruction of justice, anyone?

Rumor has it that "more than one person" told not to open their doors for inspectors is talking... at least two of the 'actors' who told voters not to open their doors were named in complaints.

GA heard one intimidation tactic used is that by talking to the inspectors, they will be prosecuted for telling the truth: that someone mailed the VBM for them.

NOT TRUE!

Folks who filled out a VBM but did not mail it themselves ARE SAFE.   If you or a friend or neighbor has filled out a VBM but let someone else mail it you will not be prosecuted or fined or arrested....

GA knows this for a FACT after speaking with officials at the Hudson County Board of elections.

It is the person scaring you, threatening you, or telling you NOT to open the door for Board of Elections inspectors who is obstructing justice.

In the meantime, GA got an early morning report on antics at the Board of Elections.  A witness used the word "shit show."

According to witnesses, Mike Russo, was screaming at Charlie "Blue" the Chief Inspector under John Bryzowski, the Acting Superintendent at the Board of Elections.  With Mike Russo was Mama, Kim Glatt and Jay Yacker, George DeStefano, and Ruben Ramos' attorney.  Kim Glatt argued that they needed to know the difference between a 'challenge' and an 'investigation', then demanded specific information on which buildings were being challenged (or investigated).  Matt Calicchio was there screaming to Charlie that reform candidates were paying a $100 vote and that Dana Wefer was "intimidating people" in the 4th Ward.  Calicchio said that they would 'get them all to vote provisionally."   The Dark Siders waited around for Bryzowski to show, but eventually left when he failed to appear.  In total they challenged "about 8 ballots", because "Ruben had most all the VBMs"

Folks, it looks like Hudson County Board of Elections is not laying down for the 'same old' this year, and is determined to enforce the amended vote-by-mail law.  At the same time, GA hears the NJ Attorney General is "following" the investigation ongoing in Hoboken.

Me thinks there will be surprises in the coming days.

  1. Micheal Russo was screaming and trying to intimidate people is nothing new.
He learned that from his father who is convicted felon and former mayor.

  2. It's a small world after all...
Kimberly Galtt was appointed to be a judge by then Mayor Anthony Russo and is married to Jay Yacker who is partners in the same law firm as Anthony Suarez who was charged in the FBI Bid Rig sweep along with Peter Cammarano.

It is said Kimberly Glatt used to babysit little Michael Russo and her trailing around with him now may a sign she still is. Or perhaps she her husband were just going Trick or Treating with Mikey and his mom.

This is simply insane! The whole Russo faction leadership all in one location screaming at investigators?

You've got to be kidding me! Roll out the Hudson County SWAT truck and handcuff them all.

How much fun would that be?

  4. hoboken used to be their personal clubhouse/piggy bank, and they CAN'T STAND that they've lose control. they can afford to scheme and plot 24/7 because they don't have real jobs. i don't know anyone who would trust any of them, let's hope this VBM investigation lands at least a few of these characters in hot water.

  5. Like GA I heard the AG WILL prosecute the people obstructing the board of elections investigation. I hear they are taking names. And you know that hits close to home for one candidate.

Has there been a vote-by-mail investigation of this magnitude in Hoboken in the past 50 years? The law was changed in August 2015, and it looks like the state is serious about enforcing it. Got a problem with that?

I have no idea where Timmy was, but you seem to. Ask him.

    1. Nervous much? Yesterday the whole clan was in JC having a Halloween inspired screamfest with the Board of Elections. Early today you are here trolling. The palpable fear of the OG is oozing out the HHA buildings like toxic slime and into the streets. It does seem appropriate that the Poopster is on the Sewer Authority. GA and Horsey have accomplished a great deal in the past 4 years. The actions of the Board of Elections are a sea change from 4 years ago. Funny how that silly SLAPP suit was supposed to silence them and eliminate any effective opposition to the OG to counter the propaganda spewed by Al Sullivan and the Disreporter. Instead, it seems that the suit just made all of Reform stronger and more resolved to get rid of the stink and stench of the Russo gang and their henchment, the Mason Scourge, VBM and Vision 20/20. All that is really left is that specious ethnic cleansing lawsuit - and if rumors are correct that Zayas may soon be conflicted out of that case because of the stupid emails that Carmelo sent to him from the HHA server, then that turd in the punch bowl will soon get flushed.

  9. So is a massive VBM campaign the reason for all of the arrogance on the other side? Ramos hasn't done a lick of campaigning in the ward. I'm concerned we're gonna get stuck with that guy, only this time around he won't sit there like a lug on the city council the way he used to but will be a complete MSTA, Ron Simoncini henchman on council. The developer crowd is chomping at the bit, in expectation of welcoming their "guy" back to the city council. Let's hope there are hundreds of excluded VBMs for chain of custody problems the same way there were 2 years ago when over 300 illegitimate VBMs were tossed.

    1. If you see the debate links MSV posted yesterday both Ruben Ramos and Mike Russo went publicly coming out for big buildings re: big development.

People should wake up to that fact. Many won't. I feel sorry for the people who believe the lies when the truth is right there for everyone to see and hear themselves.

  10. Another day another ahole dispatched to go to the blogs and tell everyone the blogs are irrelevant. Don't forget to add that the sh!t in your pants was there when you bought them and has nothing to do with the looming disaster of November 3rd.

    1. The person who seems most bitter toward the blogs these days is Al "The Zimmer Bloggers Orchestrated the Arrest of the Former IT Official I Won't Even Name" Sullivan. Between his weekly screeds riddled with reckless disregard for the truth, his contemptuous Facebook rants and his apparently gone-but-not-forgotten life on nj.com as hobok1880, the wannabe "serious writer" who no serious writer in nj has ever heard of is almost indistinguishable from the Bajardi twins and Barradumbass.

    2. Al's big exclusive flopped and worse Carmelo handed the stuff out all over the place. By the time the Hudson Reporter got to it, the story was already thoroughly covered by the Hudson County View.

Al said the HR was putting up the emails. He's not even quoting a few words even out of context. He's telling everyone... this may... that apparently... those possibly....

And there's no there there. Nothing happened. The big guy supposedly running things saw no action by the HHA board at all.

Kind of puts a crimp in the whole exercise. Carmelo had the HR's hopes up jumping through hoops. Haha, one big circle jerk.

  11. Just ignore the little troll. He could have been a contender, but his puss filled personality has alienated him to the extent that he has taken over Blowhardi's role as the proverbial turd in the punch bowl. Maybe some day he will find his integrity and admit that he has crossed over and become a shill for developers at the expense of any credibility that he ever had with Reform. All in the chase for those elusive commissions.
