Earwitness Rumor: Timmy on the Move?

Folks, you won't believe what just passed across my um... ear.  According to more than one  Earwitness:

Timmy wants to run with Reform.

Whoa!  As Earwitness rumors go, consider that an unbaked souffle.

Hey, there's no business like ear-business. It's work!  The ear-businessman must fill up ears, as many as possible- Fourth Estate ears, too.  That's the ear-biz, on the manufacturing side.

Other times, these Earwitness rumors are organically grown.  That kind tends to have some foundation in truth.

Which kind of Ear-witness rumor is this?  Manufactured or organic?

Who knows!   But, guess what?

GA obtained a freshly-written letter by 4th Ward Councilman Tim Occhipinti to Dawn Zimmer:

    1. I could believe Occhipinti wants to run with the reformers because many of his previous handlers want him out of the race and don't want him to split the old guard vote they want to consolidate behind Ramos.

Those who remember Ramos previous record he is very poor leader but an excellent follower who the old guard think can control.. The glitch in that plan is Russo wants to run for mayor too and will cut Ramos off at the knees if he tries to get in his way and Ramos or his handlers understand that.

    2. Reform has to be real smart here. These vermin are plotting and we need to do the same.

    3. Reform smart? No. Not at politics. Reform is much better at governing than politics.

  2. this can't be serious. right? oy vey. sorry, timmy....not only has that boat sailed, but it was never docked to begin with. good luck versus ruben, let's see if you can buy more "campaign workers" than him. hopefully you two with shoot each other in the head and pave the way for an actual reform candidate to win.

  4. This rumor sounds like an act of desperation or distraction from the Ramos camp.

    1. Ramos has nothing to fear from Occhipinti. He has zero organic support in the 4th.

    2. The elections in the 4th are sometimes so close that a handful of votes decides the elections.

Ramos and his handlers don't want to split off even a single vote to Occhipinti.

    3. Tim is smart to want to work with reform. It is his path to victory.

    4. Tim is a complete scumbag who will do or say whatever is written in the notebook. How could reform ever consider trusting him.

  5. Sure sounds like a distraction from the Ramos camp. No way in hell anyone from reform would give Timmy of all people ANY opportunity to represent them. Just the thought of Timmy the reformer is so ludicrous that I thing Ruben's people are just trolling.

  6. Timmy wants in on a reform ticket like Mason wants in a Clinton cabinet. What they want and what will actually happen are 2 incredibly different things

    1. Me too. If reform or Clinton lets me on its ticket, I'll bring Woodstock along as my Chief of Staff, no extra charge!
