Richard G. Mason Under Oath

Here is Richard G. Mason of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz's version of events, under oath:

Here are true and correct excerpts from Richard G. Mason's Motion on Short Notice for an Order to Quash Defendant's Trial Subpoena to Non-Party Richard Mason:

Motion on Short Notice for an Order to Quash Defendant's Trial Subpoena to Non-Party Richard Mason:

Richard G. Mason's Affidavit and motion were filed on September 19, 2014 to quash his subpoena to testify at Bajardi v Pincus.   A separate motion was filed to quash the subpoena of Elizabeth Mason.  (A "quash" if granted by the Court, means neither Beth nor Ricky could be called by Defendants to testify.)

On September 22, the trial was adjourned to January 26, 2015.

On October 8, 2014, as a pro se, I filed motions in opposition to the Masons' motions to quash.

This is an excerpt from my Opposition to Notice of Short Motion for an Order to Quash Defendant’s Trial Subpoena to Non-Party Ricky Mason:

page 2- Def. Pincus' Brief in Support of Opposition to Notice of Short Motion for an Order to Quash Defendant’s Trial Subpoena to Non-Party Ricky Mason:

My motions opposing the Masons and the facts within went undisputed by them; neither Mason filed a reply brief.

Who won?  I DID.  Both motions.

Me, a pro se, defeated the Masons' attorney's. But, that is not the point.

The point: misrepresentations under oath made by officer of the court, Richard Mason, about why Mr. Brice "appeared" at his door that night; Mr. Mason's omission of the fact that Brice was conducting a civil process in accordance with NJ Court Rules.  In my opinion and belief, Richard Mason's misrepresentations  were (1) a deliberate obstruction of our trial defense and (2) an effort to evade future service by turning Brice into a 'harasser' and 'aggressor' and themselves into "victims."

Mr. Mason's refusal to open the door created the set-up  for this:

Oh, my.  Yes it is "alarming" to be served with a court document.  Daresay, I was "offended" to be served with a frivolous lawsuit by notorious Hoboken political operatives.  Imagine if every person in America filed a police complaint when they were served as a party or witness in a civil court procedure. But I digress.

This too, shall pass.

Beth Mason has apparently learned nothing from the ill-fated Bajardi lawsuit. Like the frivolous Bajardi complaint, her's is circling the bowl, round and round and round and round.  Be there, on May 28 to see it flushed.

Whoosh!

  1. Ricky's a coward. His wife Beth got busted practicing gutter politics. Noel Torres admitted his wife's "business partner"James Barracato paid him in cash for the Nazi Truck and gave him the attack video on a flash drive and Mason doesn't express any remorse for her actions???

  2. For all his observance to his religion, Ricky Mason appears to have an extreme lack of character, morals and ethics. Three things his money can't buy.

  3. Ricky Mason is the mastermind ( mind used lightly ) behind his wife.
I bet he wanted her there for power , access and status .. and to help is friend Howard Safir ....?

  4. Nice legal brief, GA.

The Masons spent at least $20k to get whupped by an amateur. No offense.

  5. Since when is there a law against lying under oath? I think you guys are just making some of this stuff up now.

  6. It is always amazing how supposedly smart people do very stupid things.

Had Richard Mason and Elizabeth Mason simply accepted the inevitable service of the sopeana quietly at their residence they would not have yet another nasty public relations fiasco.

Considering that all the money time and effort the Mason's have spent to try to advance Beth's political ambitions this was truly a stupid move and the playing out this little drama will only compound the negative fallout for them.

  7. I think if Mason decides to run again in the 2nd ward I think we will see an avalanche of volunteers from all over Hoboken who would be more than happy to support an alternative candidate.

The goal should be to ensure Mason gets no more than 50 votes

  9. Imagine if everyone Bacardi Subpoenaed and was stalked, photographed and children's photo's stolen and given to servers charged them with assault and harassment?
No, people accepted service professionally, even when they showed up at someone's office in NY and at public meetings trying to embarrass them. The Mason's and Bacardi's sure can dish it out but anyone says anything negative or that they doubt like, they sue. They sue because they have the power of the Mason Checkbook.
However we have the power of truth, honestly and the people of Hoboken.
Fuck you Beth & Ricky Mason and double Fuck you Kim and Lane Bajardi. I hate hearing your voice on 1010 WINS overtime I'm in a cab at 3 am ( which is never you asshole, cheesy voice, crappy suit, 5th floor walk up living piece of shit!

  10. Not sure where the Masons thought Beth's non-existent political career and Ricky's checkbook would take them. She is a two-term councilman, one of which she had to buy, in a small city. She failed miserably at the job, which is something she's good at. Between now and election day on November 3rd, there are just a little more than 5000 hours, after which Ricky and Beth and all their hangers-on become just an infamous and forgettable part of local lore.

  11. I don't know how this latest abuse of the courts and the publicity helps Ricky at Wachtell. This one is a brickbat to a hornets nest. Can't he control his crazy wife?

    1. It certainly doesn't help either Ricky or Beth Mason but at this point they have little choice but to play out what looks like another losing hand.

The political filth the Mason's have created and immersed themselves for years in Hoboken has left an indelible stink on them that will never be able to be washed away or covered up.

  12. Ricky Mason looks like a bottom feeder bringing his religion into this. Being served had nothing to do with his being Jewish, he knew this, knew why he was being served, and yet tries to make his religion an issue.

    Man up Ricky.

    1. And it was completely disingenuous. Jury selection takes a day or two, then Plaintiffs present their case. He would not have been called during the holidays.

Oh yeah, and I answered the door at 6:25AM on a Friday last summer to accept service of the Bajardis trial subpoena. Talk about abusive- there was no reason to serve me that early on a weekday when they knew I was available during the day. But, I answered the door and accepted service, unlike the Masons who, incredibly, called the police!

    2. In some people's heads they are above being served, even though you would think they would understand given 1 is a layer, and the amount of legal carnage they have let loose on Hoboken

PS Double thumbs up on the Brief!! You hit it outta the park

  14. To be fair, I think they just found it rather unbecoming that Roman videoed it on his smartphone instead of, say, paying a father-and-son team to come from 3 counties away to do it.

  15. Can Beth Mason's emails be OPRAed? The ones to her council email address, those should be for government purposes. Like all emails between her and Baracatto.

    1. Not only are those OPRA-able, but so too are the emails, texts and tweets she sends and receives when she's on the dais. Now THOSE are the ones inquiring minds want to see.

Oh who am I kidding? Those girls probably don't want to have anything to do with her now.

  18. It also proves that Bacardi was a political good/operative/hack/friend/pillow fluffed since 2007 ... while working wherever it was that laid him off before he was working full time as "not an operative " for Mason.
