A big, hearty WOO HOO!  goes out to our Hoboken Redwings, who took the State Championship yesterday, 13-7!

Congratulations to all the kids, their parents, and coaches!  Aren't our kids terrific?

  1. Congrats on a truly entire TEAM effort with six injured starting players unable to play.

  2. This high school has a history of turning out great football teams, way to go team! Ga, are you excited for your daughter to attend there in a few years?

    1. She'll be there next year in middle school. Yes, my friends there now are having a great experience. You can't believe the political operative scum who trash our schools 24/7. Especially dim-witted airhead arm candy. They know nothing.

  3. That is great! You should really encourage others to start speaking out more to inform the general public. This would really shed some light on the great direction the high school is moving, I think if other parents had a better understanding, like yourself, it wouldn't be such a hard sell.

    1. They are/have been- without my encouragement.

Read the Wall-Bond letter in the HR this week. Take a tour of the HS- Sobolov's been organizing them for YEARS- I took one 4 or 5 years ago. We are up against a tidal wave of misinformation and nasty political operatives who have extraordinary access to mainstream media. See today's post ("Cooked Poll"). It takes time but we will never give up on our kids.

As for the 'better understanding' point- that works for some. Then for others, the old saying applies: "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink".

  4. The game was nail-biter from beginning to end. The teams were very well matched and I observed great sportsmanship from both sides. Congratulations to the Redwings!
