Y? Because We LIKE You

Spectacular view from the Liberty House Restaurant in Liberty State Park

Yes indeed, we like our YMCA... in fact we love it!

Unfortunately, the Y cannot exist on love alone... it needs DOLLARS.  Dollars and sense... which reminds me, do you like to PARTY?

Of course,  you do.  I've seen you teetering on the edge of your bar stool.  Or was that me?

Well, here's a chance to PARTY while you GIVE- imagine that!  Yes, a fabulous evening has been planned at Liberty State Park's stunning Liberty House restaurant: dinner, dancing, and GALLONS of booze!

I mean VATS.  Enough to swim in- I'm talking Olympic-pool sized.  With a waterfall.  And hot (booze) spring.

Come on, people.  Help keep a community treasure alive and kicking.  Please.

So here is your invitation followed by a few words from Paul Sommerville, YMCA Board President.

Dear Friends and Neighbors:

Many of you have seen the scaffolding up around the Y, heralding our construction project and the renaissance of this important community resource – our beloved YMCA.

As we work on our first phase of renovations and plan for our second, we hope you will join your friends and neighbors at a not-to-be-missed buffet dinner to kick-off the spring season! Dance to the tunes of “Swingadelic” at this amazing Liberty State Park venue with parking and unparalleled views: www.libertyhouserestaurant.com.

Tickets are $150 each ($1250.00 for a table of ten) and may be purchased online through: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/224671 ($59.76 tax deductible if purchased at full price).

Please help spread the word to make the evening a big success! I hope you can attend and if not, that you’ll consider making a tax-deductible contribution at this time.
Cheers!

Paul

  1. A very good time can be had by all in support of this VERY worthy Hoboken institution. Great venue, GREAT band, and the Y really deserves support for its important service to the community.

Paul Somerville is to be commended for his exceptional, tireless leadership, especially in these particularly challenging times.
